Step 1
Identify and Remove

We identify any mold-affected areas in your home or business and create a detailed decontamination plan. We contain the affected areas. We then create negative air pressure and a HEPA filter exhaust to the exterior to further avoid cross-contamination. COIT follows industry recognized procedures to safely remove all mold and mold-contaminated surfaces. If furniture or other personal belongings have been affected, we may inventory and pack-out those items for off-site cleaning and decontamination.

The next step is to ensure the source of the mold is removed. Mold grows in dark areas where too much moisture is present. Technicians create a detailed drying plan to safely reduce moisture to predetermined levels. We’ll use dehumidifiers and air movers to continue the drying process until target Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) has been reached.

Step 2
Humidity Control

After the mold removal, decontamination and cleaning processes are complete, we are ready to restore your home or business to pre-loss conditions. We’ll put back any flooring surfaces, complete painting where necessary and reinstall your furniture.

Put Back

We have a beautiful white leather sofa that was looking a bit off-white/yellowish. Service tech Orlando tested his product in an inconspicuous place to make sure it would do no harm to the leather. It didn't. So he hand cleaned the entire sofa - and it's white again!!!

All service aspects were more than good. He called the day before indicate his arrival timeframe. He called the day of service when he was on his way. He was professional in appearance and manner; and was extremely careful to do the best job I could have expected.

We used this business for two purposes – – the cleaning of our rugs that had been damaged by some flooding, and the stripping and sealing of our Mexican tile floors. The rugs came back as if they were new. The Team helped place the rugs back in the house where they belonged. Everything was done in a timely way. The more time-consuming task was stripping and sealing of our Mexican tile floors. The floors have not been stripped and sealed for a number of years and so there was some real damage.
